چکیده
Let us consider k(?2) independent populations ?1,…,?k, where ?i follows exponential distribution with hazard rate ?i, (i=1,…,k). Suppose Yi1,…,Yin be a random sample of size n drawn from the ith population ?i, i=1,…,k. For i=1,…,k, Yi=?j=1nYij. The natural selection rule is to select associated largest mean. That is, (i=1,…,k) selected if Yi=max(Y1,…,Yk). Based on this rule, chosen. Then, we estimation respect entropy loss function. Some estimators are proposed. minimaxity estimator established. Improved improving upon derived. Finally, numerical study carried out in order compare proposed terms risk values.

Smoothing Hazard Rates
The nonparametric approach to estimate hazard rates for lifetime data is flexible, model-free and data-driven. No shape assumption is imposed other than that the hazard function is a smooth function. Such an approach typically involves smoothing of an initial hazard estimate, with arbitrary choice of smoother. We describe methods for grouped lifetime data observed at certain time intervals and ...
متن کاملOn Bivariate Reversed Hazard Rates
In this paper we discuss various definitions of bivariate reversed hazard rate and their properties. An exponential representation of bivariate distribution using reversed hazard rates is given and we also develop a new family of bivariate distributions using bivariate reversed hazard rate. Finally we give a local dependence measure using bivariate reversed hazard rates and study its properties...
متن کاملOn the Inadmissibility of Step-down Procedures for the Hotelling
Step-down testing procedures for the Hotelling T2 problem are considered. We show that the step-down procedure proposed by S.N. Roy, R.E. Bargmann, and J. Roy is inadmissibleamonginvariantprocedures (for a suitable invariance group) in many situatiqns, includiItgallthosefor which more than two steps are contemplated. We also show that in most cases, the power of the step-down procedure decrease...
متن کاملWeb Tool for Estimating the Cancer Hazard Rates in Aging
A computational approach for estimating the overall, population, and individual cancer hazard rates was developed. The population rates characterize a risk of getting cancer of a specific site/type, occurring within an age-specific group of individuals from a specified population during a distinct time period. The individual rates characterize an analogous risk but only for the individuals susc...
متن کاملOn the Inadmissibility of Non-evolutionary Shocks
In recent years, numerical solutions of the equations of compressible magnetohydrodynamic flows have been found to contain intermediate shocks for certain kinds of problems. Since these results would seem to be in conflict with the classical theory of magnetohydrodynamic shocks, they have stimulated attempts to reexamine various aspects of this theory, in particular the role of dissipation. In ...
